1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Make It Use It website and services (the “Services”), operated by 15442117 Canada Inc. (doing business as Make It Use It) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the other policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account. Sign-in is passwordless: you are responsible for the email address on your account and for the activity that happens under it. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Plans & purchases

Plans are digital goods. When you buy a plan you receive a license to access and use it as described on the plan and permitted by its license tier — not ownership of the underlying design.
Purchases pin to the plan revision current at checkout; that version stays in your library even if the creator updates the plan later.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and charged through our payment processor. Applicable taxes may be added.
Digital plans are refundable within 14 days if you have not downloaded the full sheet. See Pricing & Payouts.

4. Creators & content

If you publish plans, you keep ownership of your content and grant us a licence to host, display, market and deliver it to buyers through the Services. You are responsible for holding the rights to everything you upload and for its accuracy. Your content must follow our Content Policy and Community Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you will not:

Upload content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes others’ intellectual property.
Post unlawful, harmful, deceptive or unsafe material, or resell plans you have merely purchased.
Attempt to breach security, scrape at scale, disrupt the Services, or circumvent access controls or fees.

6. Safety

Building carries real-world risk. Plans are provided for general guidance; you are responsible for working safely and lawfully. Read our Safety Disclaimer before you build.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Services and plans are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for outcomes of any build. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Some provisions — including content licences you have granted and limitations of liability — survive termination.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be dated and, where appropriate, notified. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
